He is responsible for LISC’s legal affairs, overseeing the Legal department that enables LISC to implement its many programs that help communities rebuild and renew and that help individuals and families connect to safe, affordable housing, quality education, financial coaching, and job training.

Bob started his career in affordable housing, first working for a community development corporation in Chester, Pennsylvania, and then moving on to work for New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).  After obtaining a joint J.D.-M.B.A. degree, he began his legal career with the law firm of Saul Ewing.  Bob spent 17 years in private practice, the last 10 of which he was a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.  Bob left private practice to co-found a real estate investment firm and guided the firm in making several successful investments. With a desire to return to a mission-driven organization, Bob joined LISC in April, 2018.

Bob received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, from the Law School and the Wharton School, respectively.  He earned his B.A. degree from Swarthmore College.
